If you like music and helping out others, check out the Haiti Benefit 2 event all day Sunday, February 13 at the Player’s Pub. Hosted by local musician Curtis Cantwell Jackson, this is the second annual event to raise money to help those who are still in need of basic necessities in Haiti after last year’s devastating earthquake. The event will be an all-day concert running from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, featuring local musicians. The minimum donation to attend is $10, but you are more than welcome to give more. It’s a family friendly event, and there is great food at the pub, so whether you are ready for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there is plenty of time to stop by and show how much you care.
For more information please check out the Facebook event, or contact Curtis at curtiscantwelljackson@yahoo.com. The Player’s Pub is located at 424 S Walnut Street.
