Rock for Kids’ Sake is a music festival featuring 19 local artists playing at various venues around Bloomington. It takes place this year on Friday, March 4th, starting at 6pm. Wristbands are $10, which gives you access to all seven venues for the entire night. The proceeds from the festival will benefit children of Fairview Elementary School’s Artful Learning Program, which utilizes the arts to engage students with all academic subjects. In this model of learning, students use four components (experiencing, inquiry, creation, and reflection) to aid students in understanding, applying, and retaining the curriculum.
