I first heard “Man on the Alter“, a song by local band Chandelier Ballroom, during the band’s opening set for Asobi Seksu at the Bishop and was blown away by its unique sound. There are only a handful of songs that we come across that are allotted ample airtime in our lives. ”Man on the Alter” is one such song. It is rare at times for a band have the ability to capture your attention and hold it for the entirety of a track and show. I highly suggest you check out the band and its music!
