Celebrating Easter in Bloomington, Music edition

The Bloomington area music scene celebrates Easter

EasterThe Bloomington area music scene will still be celebrating Easter this  Sunday, April 8 with several shows highlighting the local Bloomington talent.

Beginning at 9am, Easter Sunday at the Sound Workshop will kick off with Easter sandwiches being served to those in attendance. Starting at 10am, local artists Dust from 1000 Years will perform, followed by Sisters Von Volsung at 11 and finally NOON will perform at 12pm.

The Sound Workshop is located at 1021 S. Walnut Street (behind Russian Recording). Be sure to get their at 9am so you can grab a sandwich!

The Easter festivities will continue into the night when the party moves to the Switchyard. Local Americana band, The Indiana Boys, will headline IBs’ at the Switchyard on Sunday, April 8 at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run until 10pm. Dylan Maloney and Joel Gragg will also be performing.

The Switchyard is located at 1417 W Monon Drive in Bloomington.

Both events are free, feature food, and provide a “house” venue environment. Don’t miss out on these great Easter festivities!
