Players Pub has it's own Facebook page and all official statements from the family will be posted there. These are not "designated folks" as mentioned above. These are Greg's family members, who own the Pub. Anyone interested should check the FB site periodically for the date and time of Greg's Celebration Of Life.Thanks.

Greg Hill provided mature Bloomington musicians a real home, a place to play-- they are vanishingly rare-- and most of all respect. Player's is a community, a place to meet friends in a sort of fragmented town, and an outstanding place to hear music. (He would also want me to mention the great food, I know.) A sweet spirit, Greg will come around again some day and I hope mine meets his wherever that is, to tell really bad jokes, hear really good music and just be a little more human. Peace,Greg. Spanky

Greg you'll remain in our hearts as an example of how to make the world better in each of our little parts of it!
Thanks for the gifts of music, fellowship, foods, drinks, massage and healing you have given to the world.
I was a Prostrate Cancer patient being treated in Bloomington, Indiana at the Indiana Univerity's Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute for 5 days a week for 9 weeks and met you through my saxophone player Don (of the patient music group The Protons who played at Jill's House non-profit housing for cancer patients and their families) who told us about your club and we went and played on Musician Jam Night. We met and talked and you and Jullie Birkett offered my wife Valerie and I and any other cancer treatment patients free Massage and Reiki treatments. It relieved the stress and help me heal (I'm now 3 years cancer free)and my wife with her stress too. We also thank you for doing Player's Pub night fundraisers for Jill's House the Bloomington,Indiana non-profit housing for cancer patients and families being treated with Indiana University's Proton Therapy program which allows them to eliminate the cancer tumors without any damage or side effects on healthy tissues and organs surrounding it.
Greg you were a blessing to us and the world, we love and miss you!
